View the Full Chat conversation thread after clicking on search message results

Microsoft Teams users searching for specific chat messages will benefit from improved functionality. When clicking on a specific search result, rather than being taken directly to the message, Teams users will be taken to the full chat thread, allowing for better contextual understanding of the conversation. The feature will be rolled out in October 2022 for Desktop and Web clients and is applicable to both SERP page and contextual search surfaces. No action is required for users to benefit from this change. The primary goal is to make searching for information within Teams easier and more efficient. This post first appeared on M365 Admin.
