Insert Online Videos for Microsoft Whiteboard
Microsoft Whiteboard is set to introduce a new feature that will allow users to insert and embed online videos from a variety of sources, including YouTube, Vimeo, and TED, among others. The feature is set to roll out to Whiteboard web, Teams, and Windows App users by early October 2022, with the rollout expected to be completed by mid to late October 2022. While users will have access to the functionality via an optional connected experiences policy, administrators can use the Office cloud policy service to disable insert and embed functionality for online videos and other optional connected experiences in Whiteboard. No action is required for users who wish to use the new feature.
