Microsoft Outlook for iOS and Android: Minimize the compose window to multitask in the Outlook app

Microsoft Outlook for iOS and Android is introducing a new feature that allows users to minimize draft emails and quickly access them again from the message list or calendar view. The feature is expected to roll out between early January and early February 2025 and will be turned on by default. This will help users compose emails more efficiently by allowing them to access information they need from their calendar or other emails without leaving the draft they are working on. No admin action is required as the change will happen automatically. It is recommended to notify users of this change and update any relevant documentation. The announcement comes with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 470304.
For those who are always on-the-go, this feature may come in handy as they can now save more time by multitasking within the app itself.
