Microsoft SharePoint Online: Apply shapes to images

Microsoft SharePoint Online: Apply shapes to images

SharePoint Online will soon be rolling out a feature that allows users to apply shapes such as square, circle, triangle, hexagon, pebble, and teardrop to images in Image and Text web parts. No admin action is required before the rollout, which is set to begin in mid-April 2024 and end in early June 2024. This feature will add more interest to pages by enabling users to apply shapes over an Image web part or inline image in a Text web part. Before the rollout, page authors were unable to apply a shape to such images, but after the rollout, they will be able to apply different shapes. This new feature is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 395210 and is set to automatically roll out by the specified date with no admin action required. Before the rollout, it is suggested to inform users about this change and update any relevant documentation as required.
