Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Activity explorer export limit increase (U.S. Government clouds)

Organizations that prefer exporting user activity insights to a CSV file in Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management will now be able to do so more efficiently, as the activity explorer's export limit will increase from 10K to 100K records.

Insider Risk Management is a tool designed to help identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. With this update, customers can filter, sort, or pivot a bigger data set, making it more convenient to manage security and compliance.

This update is part of Purview's commitment to privacy by design, with pseudonymized default user settings, role-based access controls, and audit logs in place, ensuring user-level privacy. The update is set for a general availability release in September CY2023, exclusively for the U.S. Government clouds.
