Microsoft Purview compliance portal : Insider Risk Management – New alerts report (U.S. Government clouds)

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management has introduced a new alert report to help users monitor potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks within U.S. Government Clouds. The alerts report summarizes the status of alerts, allowing users to quickly identify which alerts require further review. Using a blend of signals, the feature can detect risks such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations, and allows customers to implement policies to manage security and compliance. Microsoft emphasizes that privacy is factored into the design, with default pseudonymization and user-level privacy controls in place. The Insider Risk Management feature is set to become generally available in May 2023 via the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
