Information regarding the end of support for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Lockbox legacy audit functionalities
If you use the legacy audit functionality for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Customer Lockbox, it's important to know that this functionality will reach end-of-support starting July 1, 2024. Microsoft plans to transition to an improved standard pipeline for audit logging that will offer enhanced audit capabilities as well as robust security.
To ensure a smooth transition, Microsoft advises reviewing the new feature documentation for the enhanced DLP and Lockbox functionalities and adjusting any integrations or tools that rely on the legacy DLP and Lockbox events to the new schema.
