Microsoft Purview: Data Loss Prevention for endpoints-Archive File Support for Mac Endpoints

Microsoft Purview has introduced a new archive file support feature that allows Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to inspect the content of every archive file when it is being created, modified, or read. The files contained within the archive file are classified and evaluated against the active DLP policies, with the applicable auditing and enforcement policies applied based on specific logic. This new feature is supported for Mac endpoints and is expected to be released on a General Availability basis in June CY2024 on the Web Cloud Platform Instance for DoD, GCC, and GCC High.
