Microsoft Viva: Pulse admins can manage Pulse notifications

Microsoft Viva is set to empower Pulse admins with new capabilities to effectively manage Pulse notification settings. Admins will be able to choose preferred delivery methods such as email and Teams Chat, with the feature being rolled out between early October and late November 2024. Prior to this rollout, it has not been possible for admins to adjust notification settings and this rollout is a welcome addition. With it, Pulse admins can better adjust how users receive Pulse survey notifications by turning off the Microsoft Teams Activity feed feature. This rollout will apply to Viva Pulse on the web and to the Viva app in Microsoft Teams. 

Admins will have the ability to adjust notification delivery methods for users in their tenant at Viva Pulse > Manage > Notifications. It is important to note that users will need to have the Viva Pulse Teams app installed in order to receive Teams Chat notifications from Pulse. This feature is on by default and is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 408163. For more information on the feature and its rollout, refer to Microsoft Learn.
