Microsoft Teams: Frosted Glass Backgrounds in Teams Meetings

Microsoft Teams is offering a new feature called Frosted Glass, which allows users to add a background effect with a blur effect and graphics, providing a more professional and creative way to keep privacy during meetings. This feature can be activated by using a PNG image with graphics in a transparent background and will turn the transparent area into a blur background while keeping the graphic as part of the background effect. The Frosted Glass feature is now available on the Microsoft Teams desktop platform and will be rolled out globally in July CY2023. This update is aimed to improve the visual appeal of Microsoft Teams and enhance the experience of users using the platform.
