Outlook: Shared Mailboxes as Accounts
The new Outlook for Windows now allows for Shared Mailboxes to be added as separate Accounts. The Shared Mailbox will appear as an Account Level entry in the Folder list, but access to it will require the user's credentials and relevant permissions. This feature was made available globally for desktop and cloud platforms on July CY2024 and is a part of the ongoing Microsoft 365 roadmap to enhance user experience.
