Outlook: New Outlook – Tidy left navigation options and folder list improvements

Outlook is making some changes to its UI to improve readability and navigation. Specifically, the folder list in both the new Outlook for Windows and Outlook for Web experience is undergoing changes that will make it easier to use. The links that were previously located under folder groups, such as adding new folders, are now under the context menu instead. To create a new folder or subfolder, right-click on the mailbox folder, and to create a new search folder, right-click on search folders. These changes will be implemented in the Current Channel release for Outlook in September CY2023.

To see these new changes in action, head to the Microsoft 365 roadmap ID 166993. While these changes may seem small, they are designed to improve the overall user experience and make navigating Outlook an easier and more enjoyable experience. Keep an eye out for these changes coming soon!
