Microsoft Purview | Information Protection: Server-side auto-labeling using trainable classifiers (preview)

Microsoft Purview now offers a new capability in public preview that allows for trainable classifiers in server-side sensitivity auto-labeling policies for files and emails in SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange. With 15 built-in classifiers, Microsoft Purview compliance portal provides Microsoft 365 users with an opportunity to automatically label sensitive content matching these classifiers. As new classifiers are planned to be released soon, this feature is supported through Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention policies and Data Lifecycle Management. In addition, admins can use the simulation mode before implementing the policy.

To start using available classifiers within your policy configuration workflows for Microsoft Purview solutions, including Information Protection, Data Lifecycle Management, and Data Loss Prevention, learn more about trainable classifiers on the Microsoft Purview compliance portal in the Data classification section.
