Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Real-time policy tuning analysis

Admins can now receive real-time alerts based on potential policy violations with Microsoft Purview's insider risk management. This feature correlates various signals to identify potential insider risks, like security violations, IP theft, and data leakage, and lets customers establish policies based on their governance, internal policies, and organizational requirements. Policy tuning analysis helps administrators match up the indicators and thresholds of activity occurrence to prevent policies from issuing too few or too many alerts. With default pseudonymization for users and user-level privacy controls, insider risk management is designed to protect sensitive information while still being useful. This feature is on a General Availability Release date of October CY2024 on the Web Cloud instance.
