The Power BI Service's expanded view offers the option to access "Getting Started" content that provides information on how to create/retrieve reports and dashboards, and other tips on using the Power BI service. Unfortunately, this feature is being removed, and users will no longer be able to locate or access the "Getting Started" content through the expanded Home page effective mid-December. However, some of the content from the "Getting Started" section will be available through the "Recommended" carousel for new Power BI users, while other content will be accessible via the links provided in the post. Therefore, users need to prepare for the retirement of this feature and adjust accordingly.
For Power BI newbies, understanding effective design practices for dashboards, such as those covered in other tutorials, can help to bridge this gap caused by the removal of "Getting Started."
