Microsoft Teams has introduced Walkie Talkie, a feature that brings push-to-talk voice communication over the cloud to Teams users. With this feature, users can now communicate clearly and securely over a channel, switching between up to 5 preselected channels to listen to incoming transmissions or initiate PTT transmissions. This recent update provides users with the ability to join multiple channels in multi-channel mode. This feature is now generally available on the iOS platform and is available for use worldwide on standard multi-tenant cloud instances. This enhancement provides users and teams with an efficient and effective tool for clear and secure communication.
