Copilot Studio – Use Generative Actions

Microsoft Copilot Studio has introduced a new feature called generative actions for users which allows them to trigger topics or actions to respond to queries. It replaces the traditional approach of natural language-based topic triggering wherein trigger phrases were defined for each topic. Generative actions use GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) to select one or more topics or actions to respond to the user's query thereby orchestrating a more natural and fluid conversation. Each topic and action comes with associated descriptions which the copilot uses to select the relevant topics or actions. No special preparations are needed for this feature.
