Microsoft Outlook: Drag emails into the Calendar icon in the app bar to create an event

Microsoft Outlook has recently introduced a new feature that allows users to drag and drop emails into the Calendar icon on the left app bar to create an event. The update is set to roll out between late September to November 2024 and will be available by default, with no admin action necessary. It is recommended to inform users about this feature beforehand and update any relevant documentation. The Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 413716 provides more details on this update. With this new feature, users will be able to easily create events from emails, streamlining their workflow and increasing productivity.
