Build 2024: Effective & intelligent communication for apps interacting with Teams and WhatsApp
Microsoft has announced new capabilities for developers to enhance their communication experiences with their customers through Azure Communication Services. Specifically, developers can now take advantage of new features when constructing custom video apps and websites that connect with Microsoft Teams, such as noise suppression, picture-in-picture mode for iOS and Android, live reactions, PowerPoint Live, captions, and real-time transcription using Azure AI Speech. Microsoft Copilot for Azure can help developers interrogate Call Diagnostics to understand and rectify various calling issues. Also, businesses can use Azure OpenAI Service to analyze WhatsApp messages and extract meaningful insights such as key phrase extraction, translation, language detection, and intent recognition. With enhanced communication capabilities, businesses can optimize their workflows to provide more context to the messages that users process and determine their actions.
To help deliver high-quality customer experiences, Azure Communication Services provide flexible communication APIs that can be customized to suit different business needs. Developers can learn more about these features and capabilities by participating in Microsoft Build sessions, reading about Azure Communication Services, and reviewing Twilio's Programmable Video product's transition to ACS migration guide.
