Microsoft Purview compliance portal : Insider Risk Management – Bring your own detections

Microsoft Purview's compliance portal offers Insider Risk Management, which allows customers to bring their own user activity indicators from homegrown, SIEM/UEBA platforms, or other line-of-business applications, and use them in existing Insider Risk Management playbooks. The purpose is to identify potential malicious and inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management lets customers create policies for managing security and compliance. To ensure user-level privacy, the tool is built with privacy by design, with users defaulting to pseudonymization and with role-based access controls and audit logs in place. This upcoming feature is set to be released in preview in June 2023 and generally released in February 2024. The platform will be web-based and hosted on the cloud, and it will be available globally via standard multi-tenant instances.
