Microsoft Teams: Shorter meeting URLs

If you're a regular Microsoft Teams user, you'll be pleased to know that the platform is shortening meeting URLs to simplify sharing from early May 2024. The new URLs will have a simplified syntax and apply across all Teams platforms, including Teams for iOS, Android, Mac, desktop, and web. Existing URLs will still operate alongside the new shorter version. However, organizations should check any integrations that use URL parameters and put plans in place to update documentation accordingly. The change will be automatically rolled out with no admin action required, and users will now be notified to update any relevant documentation.
