Getting a Dataverse for Teams Environment URL
If you're working with Microsoft Dataverse for Teams, it may be necessary to find out the environment's URL. This information, however, is not available in the Power Platform Admin Center. Instead, you will need to go to Microsoft Teams to get it. To do so, you'll need to select the Power Apps app and then navigate to the 'About' tab after selecting the desired Dataverse for Teams environment. Finally, click on 'Session details', and the Environment URL will be displayed. It's worth noting that data that can be accessed through this URL is restricted to Dataverse for Teams. For other scenarios where this URL is needed from an SDK standpoint, you can learn more from this article on the Microsoft Docs site.
While it can be a bit of a hassle to locate this information, other scenarios where this URL would be essential are generally limited. Hence, except for the two mentioned instances, there'll likely be no need to refer to this bit of data. Nonetheless, having access to this information is valuable in building out data visualization reports using Power BI Desktop or as a means of escalating a problem to Microsoft.
