SharePoint: Approvals integration in Document Libraries
In an effort to streamline the approval process, SharePoint Document Libraries will soon integrate with the Approvals app in Microsoft Teams. This integration will enable users to configure approvals for the library and specify approvers for files. Requests can be submitted and either approved directly in the library or through the Approvals app in Teams. Once approved, the file metadata will update in the Approval status column. It is important to note that this feature is currently targeted for release in November 2024 and will initially roll out to the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) and GCC instances of SharePoint.
