Microsoft Purview | DLP: Self-diagnostic tool for SharePoint and OneDrive policies – Test-DlpPolicies (preview)

If you're a Microsoft 365 user, you'll be pleased to know that a new diagnostic tool is currently in the works that'll enable you to test the functionality of your Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules and policies set up for various tasks such as SharePoint and OneDrive for Business. This tool, called Test-DlpPolicies, is set to begin rollout to the public in late September, with full implementation expected to take place by mid-October. Once active, admins will receive an email containing the results of the applied DLP policies when they're tested against a specified SharePoint file.

Note that you don't need to take any action to enable this preview. Simply refer to the available documentation for more details on utilizing the cmdlet.
