Power BI notification for discontinuation of support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1
Power BI has announced that support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 will be retired, and TLS 1.2 or above is recommended for outgoing requests from Power BI. This is to ensure the security of users' data by investing development resources in the updated protocols and disabling the older ones. While TLS 1.0 and 1.1 for incoming requests were disabled long ago, this change will affect outgoing requests from May 28, 2023. Organizations are advised to check that none of their users or integration points depend on the older protocols, as outbound requests with TLS 1.0 and 1.1 will no longer be successful. To prepare, it is recommended to use TLS 1.2 or above instead of TLS 1.0 or 1.1. For more information on Power BI Security, please refer to their Security documentation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest changes and ensure that your Power BI integration remains seamless with the updated protocols.
