Microsoft Excel Online: Support for the Furigana (Phonetics) Feature

Microsoft Excel Online: Support for the Furigana (Phonetics) Feature

Excel Online now supports the furigana phonetics feature in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Hong-Kong locales. This new feature allows users to view and interact with existing furigana in cells. Users can also show or hide existing furigana and select furigana type from several options. The ribbon button for furigana will be available when a user selects a range of cells that contain available phonetics, and will be disabled if there are no available phonetics in the selected range.

No action is required from users at this time. Users are encouraged to update relevant training documentation as necessary. For more information, users can visit the support article linked in the post or provide feedback to Microsoft via the Excel app.
