Microsoft Clipchamp is launching for Office 365 E3 and E5 commercial subscriptions

Microsoft Clipchamp, a powerful video editing tool, is now available for Office 365 E3 and E5 subscribers. Users can easily edit and create videos by combining video, images, audio files, and text with effects, all in one place. This tool can be accessed via the Clipchamp Windows application or on desktop computers using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browsers. Editing and creating videos in OneDrive and SharePoint is now simpler than ever with Microsoft Clipchamp's integration with Office 365. General availability for Clipchamp begins in late August 2024 with no effect on the rest of Office 365 licenses. Users with corresponding licenses will start seeing a new app or service plan, Microsoft Clipchamp, appearing as activated in the Microsoft 365 Admin Console. Users can access Clipchamp via OneDrive and SharePoint document libraries, the Clipchamp for Windows application, or Microsoft365.com/launch/clipchamp start page. Help articles are available at Clipchamp help and learning (microsoft.com), with all education articles also pertaining to the "for work" version.
Organizations' administrative records need to update new service plan names and relevant provisioning documentation when this change takes effect.
