eDiscovery Premium-Enhancements to eDiscovery experience for Microsoft Forms content

Microsoft Forms content discovery has been greatly improved with the new eDiscovery enhancements in Microsoft 365, which allow administrators to search within their collections for specific Microsoft Forms content more efficiently. Additionally, admin users are now able to review related items within both review and export, and manage Forms content via eDiscovery effectively. The simplification and ease-of-use enabled by these enhancements significantly reduces the pain points of the discovery process, increasing the confidence of organizations utilizing Forms for critical purposes that may require eDiscovery capabilities. Appropriate licensing is required for the discovery of Forms content, which can be found in this Microsoft Learn article on Microsoft Purview eDiscovery – Service Descriptions. To use eDiscovery, appropriate permissions are also necessary as detailed in the following article: Assign eDiscovery permissions in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. This feature will be released in mid-December 2023 and is expected to be completed by late December 2023. The standard release will begin rolling out in late January 2024 and is expected to conclude by late May 2024. This update will provide admins with the ability to manage Forms tasks more effectively by utilizing eDiscovery. No additional action is required to prepare for this feature's release.
