Microsoft Teams Live Captions is now generally available on Azure Virtual Desktop
We are happy to announce that Live Captions is now in GA in Teams on Azure Virtual Desktop! Providing accessibility has been an important priority and a top customer request. Now Teams on Azure Virtual Desktop can detect what’s being said and who’s saying it in real-time captions. This feature is designed for those who prefer visual cues when engaging with meeting participants and ensures everyone can follow the conversation effectively.
- View the text spoken by each person displayed by their name.
- Change the spoken language – available in 28 different languages.
- Use live captions when there’s poor audio quality during a virtual meeting.
- Refer back to the text conversation to better understand what is being said.
