Microsoft Clipchamp: Transcript-based editing in Clipchamp
Microsoft is introducing a new feature called "Transcript-based editing" in Clipchamp to make video editing more productive. This feature leverages transcripts to quickly and accurately remove unwanted sections from the video project. Users can browse through the transcript, select unwanted words, and remove them which will remove the corresponding section of the video without the need to navigate the timeline. With this new feature, the editing experience becomes more intuitive and straightforward, allowing users to edit their videos more efficiently. The feature is targeted for release in March 2025 and will be available on the web cloud platform worldwide.
