Teams Video Clip Auto-Generated Captions
Microsoft Teams Video Clip has updated its feature to include auto-generated captions. This update, expected to be completed by mid-April, closes the accessibility gap for Teams Video Clip, enabling users to watch clips with auto-generated captions without audio on. The creator of the clip can download the captions/transcript, while users can delete captions by deleting the video clip.
Organizations do not need to take any action to prepare for this change, but administrators may want to notify users and update relevant documentation. This update will enhance the accessibility of Teams Video Clips, making it easier for people with hearing disabilities to participate in Teams meetings.
