Follow up to MC510331: Microsoft Teams support for Targeted Release

Microsoft Teams now joins the Targeted Release program for commercial cloud customers, which allows users to have early access to the latest Teams features before they are released to everyone. Along with this change, the use of the "EA" label to indicate Early Access in the profile picture change has been rolled back for initial users. Targeted Release provides early access to high-quality feature releases across Microsoft 365 apps and services, enabling customers to opt-in to prepare for upcoming changes before they roll out to the rest of the organization. The rollout for Targeted Release is expected to be completed by mid-June 2023. Customers who desire early access to Microsoft Teams features can follow the process to set up the release option in the admin center. This post provides further information on Teams support for Targeted Release and a list of the latest Teams features in Targeted Release.
