Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – apply protection at the time of egress on endpoints
Microsoft is set to launch a Data Loss Prevention feature that extends protection to cold or unclassified files on endpoint devices through just-in-time protection at the time of egress. The feature is expected to be made available in June 2023, with a preview available in March 2023 and will be accessible through the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. The new feature addresses the need for increased cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
