Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention- View-only mode for Data Loss Prevention and Information Protection Policies and Labels

Microsoft has launched a new capability in the Purview compliance portal that grants view-only mode for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Protection Policies and Labels. This feature allows admins to view the policy configuration details without making any changes to the policies or label configurations. This is a significant development in ensuring data protection and compliance.

The preview release for this feature is scheduled for November 2023, with the product release planned for December of the same year. This capability will be available on the web cloud instance of the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) platform. For more information on this capability, you can visit the Microsoft roadmap link provided in the post.

Overall, this new feature in the Purview compliance portal is a welcome addition for organizations looking to enhance their data protection and compliance efforts.
