Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Enhanced Source Code classifier
The Microsoft Purview compliance portal has launched an enhanced Source Code trainable classifier that boasts of top-notch accuracy and low noise with as little as 20 lines of code. With this classifier, partial/embedded code within Office files are supported, alongside 23+ programming languages as well as 30+ extensions. Auto-labeling and data loss prevention policies can leverage this classifier to spot source code across a company's digital assets. The product is expected to be generally available by February 2023, with January of the same year as its preview date. The platform, available on the web and cloud instance, is worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) and the roadmap ID is 115469.
