Multi-Stream IntelliFrame for Teams Rooms on Windows Cameras
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows cameras are set to get a new feature, IntelliFrame, that promises to elevate the video conferencing experience. With multi-stream video, face recognition, active speaker recognition, and panoramic video capabilities, this technology can truly transform communication. By allowing up to four participant videos to be streamed and analyzed by AI, IntelliFrame ensures optimal framing, centering, and zooming to capture all the essential details of a meeting. Participants can toggle the 360- or 180-degree view from the desktop client, and the feature can be enabled by administrators on Teams Rooms devices that support it. Microsoft plans to rollout IntelliFrame with the Teams Rooms on Windows app update (version 4.18) starting from August, with full rollout expected by the end of the month.
