Microsoft Teams: Extensibility for PSTN calls

Microsoft Teams is set to extend the PSTN calling experience through third-party application developers. This new feature will provide contextual information for Teams users during calls, allowing them to access relevant data without leaving the call experience. By integrating applications, developers are able to add new functionality to calls, making customer-facing professions more efficient by having data from line of business applications at their fingertips. This functionality will be available for Mac and Cloud platforms with a release date scheduled for January CY2025.
