Join third-party meetings from Teams
Microsoft Teams now allows participants of third-party meetings created from Outlook or OWA to join directly from the Teams calendar events card or the meeting details page. The "Join" button will be visible to participants on both mobile and desktop devices and will redirect them to either their browser or the respective third-party application to join the meeting. The rollout of this feature is expected to begin in late August 2023 and complete by early September 2023. It will impact all Teams users who attend and organize third-party meetings from Outlook, so you may consider updating your training and documentation accordingly.
