Viva Insights: Schedule send suggestions (formerly delay delivery plan) available default on in Outlook with admin and user controls

Outlook just got more user-friendly with Schedule send suggestions, which help schedule email delivery in alignment with recipient work hours and minimize interruptions after-hours. The feature is available in the latest versions of Outlook on the web and Outlook for Windows, where Schedule send suggestions are turned on by default. Users with an Insights by MyAnalytics service plan can receive up to two daily schedule send suggestions, while users with a Microsoft 365 MyAnalytics (Full) service plan or Viva Insights subscription receive an unlimited number of inline suggestions that delay email delivery to their coworkers.

Administrators in the roles of Global admin or Exchange Online can also customize tenant-level settings through the Microsoft admin center to control the feature for all users. Meanwhile, individuals can switch inline suggestions on or off via the Viva Insights add-in's settings in Outlook. This update makes Outlook a more efficient tool for communication, regardless of the user's workload or time zone.
