Exchange Properties Limits addition

Exchange Properties Limits addition

Exchange is making important updates to property size and count limits, which will be implemented in two phases from late September to late November 2024. During this time, it is necessary for organizations to adhere to the new limits and prepare accordingly. The first phase includes limits for properties like CloudMSExchUCVoiceMailSettings, while the second phase includes CloudMSRtcPolicyAssignments, among others. To be more specific, Exchange is changing the allowed size and count of values for various properties and implementing maximum lengths and counts. When these limits take effect, organizations will not be able to exceed them.

The first phase of updates, starting in late September 2024, will affect properties such as CloudMSExchUCVoiceMailSettings, MSExchArchiveName, MSExchResourceMetadata, MSExchSenderHintTranslations, and ExchangeResources. The second phase, starting in late November 2024, will affect properties such as CloudMSRtcPolicyAssignments, MSExchResourceSearchProperties, CloudMSExchUserHoldPolicies, MSExchExtensionCustomAttribute1-5, ValidationError, and ProxyAddresses.

Organizations should review these new limits and take appropriate action to ensure they are prepared for the changes. Understanding the updated limits and how they impact the company is crucial to maintaining successful property management.
