Microsoft Edge: Authorized group setting in Microsoft Edge for Business
Microsoft Edge now features an authorized group setting designed to ensure compliance with printer group, removable USB device group, and network share group settings as defined in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. This feature will help prevent users from bypassing DLP protections using Edge, thereby enhancing security and compliance. This update is available on Microsoft Edge's General Availability release phase as of November CY2024 on Web Cloud Instance Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
