Teams in-context Stores

Teams in-context stores provide users with a convenient way to discover and install apps that support the specific context they are in. These stores can be found in menus throughout the Teams experience, allowing users to stay in their flow and avoid unnecessary context switching. For example, when users open the Message extension (ME) in-context store, they are presented with a selection of apps that have ME capability. The rollout for this feature has already started and will be completed by late March 2023.

The value of in-context stores lies in their ability to help users easily acquire apps that support a specific capability without losing their context. It allows users to search for apps in the entire store catalog, launch apps they have already installed, and navigate to the store if they can't find what they're looking for in the in-context store.
