Microsoft Intune: Work hour access controls for Front Line Workers
Microsoft Intune has recently introduced work hour access controls that allow IT administrators to set up restrictions on Microsoft Teams notifications and access for front line workers. This feature is designed to help organizations maximize productivity by ensuring that workers are not interrupted during their off-hours.
The new feature is now generally available on the Android platform with a worldwide standard multi-tenant cloud instance. It was officially released in March of CY2024, and more information can be found on Microsoft's roadmap ID 314380.
By leveraging these controls, IT admins can create a better work-life balance for their employees and improve overall productivity. With Microsoft Intune's work hour access controls, front line workers can rest easy knowing they won't be bothered by work-related notifications during their personal time.
