Microsoft 365 app: Microsoft Loop – Multi-geo support for shared Loop workspaces
Microsoft 365 has released a new app called Microsoft Loop that now supports multi-geo for shared Loop workspaces, effectively ensuring that data storage for these workspaces is in the correct geographical location. Group-owned workspaces under M365 will be created in the group's respective geographical location, while non-M365 group-owned workspaces will be created according to the creator's preferred data location. As a General Availability Release, the feature will be rolled out in December 2024 for the web cloud instance platform. It is available on the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) instance and can be tracked using the provided roadmap link.
