Microsoft Syntex: Sensitive information processing model

Microsoft Syntex is introducing a new prebuilt model to identify and extract sensitive information from files stored in a SharePoint document library. The rollout will begin in late May 2024 and is expected to be completed by late June 2024. Users will be able to create and apply a model to detect and optionally extract sensitive information from files uploaded to the library. This new update will automatically show up for those who already have prebuilt models enabled. Users can create a sensitive information model from the model creation panel and select languages and sensitive information entities to detect, extract sensitive information, test the model, and apply it to a SharePoint library. After the rollout, administrators can manage the availability of this feature to users in the Microsoft 365 admin center, and users should be informed about this change. This rollout will happen automatically, and no admin action is required.
