Microsoft Syntex: Prebuilt model for contracts

In an effort to streamline contract processing, Microsoft Syntex is gearing up to introduce a new prebuilt model to analyze contracts and extract common entities. This prebuilt model will be available for use in late April and expected to complete the rollout by late May. With this new model, users will have a new option when creating models for "Contract processing". They will be able to upload sample contracts to select the entities they wish to extract, and then publish the model to a document library to automatically generate metadata. Before this update, users would have to use a custom model to process contracts in Syntex.
If you or your organization rely on document processing, especially for contract analysis, this update is significant and could greatly help in automating and streamlining your processes. Be sure to notify your team members of this new capability and update any necessary training and documentation to prepare for a smooth transition.
