OneDrive sync client will be blocked on virtualized machines configured with unsupported versions of FSLogix
OneDrive users who utilize virtual machines must take note of the following crucial information to avoid being blocked from using the sync client. Starting January 2023, connections from any virtual machine with unsupported versions of FSLogix will be blocked.
Virtual OneDrive Sync client connections not utilizing FSLogix releases newer than FSLogix 2009 Hot Fix 1 will be impacted by this measure. Affected users will receive an error message and will not be able to access OneDrive. To prevent this scenario, ensure that your virtual machine utilizes the latest version of FSLogix to run OneDrive.
If your organization does not need OneDrive on virtual machines or has a supported version of FSLogix, disregard this message. For everyone else, make the necessary adjustments to avoid user distress.
