Microsoft Teams: A new default home screen and an enhanced custom background feature for Teams Rooms on Windows

The Teams Rooms on Windows app 4.17 update boasts several new and improved home screen additions, such as a refreshed and modern user interface, and an enhanced custom background feature for Teams Rooms Pro users. These features are expected to begin rolling out in mid-June and should be fully available by late July. For IT admins, the home screen will become the default experience with the 4.17 app release. Improved custom background options, available through XML settings, will allow up to three background images to be specified, with options for which image to apply on the main room display, extended room display, and room console.
