Changes to Dynamic Group Rule Builder for Entra and Intune

Changes to Dynamic Group Rule Builder for Entra and Intune

The Entra and Intune Admin Centers have updated their dynamic group rule builder UX to improve performance, which includes the removal of the 'contains' and 'notContains' operators. These operators are less performant and should only be used when necessary. However, they are still supported by the API and can be written into rules via the text box in both admin centers. This change is already available and organizations may want to update their documentation as necessary to reflect this change. This update ensures that dynamic group rules are more efficient and effective.
