Microsoft 365 compliance center update: eDiscovery Premium Ability to Export Teams as Individual Messages

Microsoft 365 compliance center has updated its eDiscovery Premium ability to export Microsoft Teams messages as individual messages. This new feature enables organizations to easily export searched messages as individual messages, matching the searched criteria, making it easier to export Teams and Yammer data sources as individual messages in the review set. It enhances the export functionality, helping users transform conversation threads into individual messages without compromising on the compliance center's standards. The default setting will still select the Yammer and Teams conversation threads when committing to the review set, enabling a smooth transition to this new feature. The feature will be rolled out in late July for the standard release. Organizations using this tool are advised to update their internal documentation and provide training to all eDiscovery users.
